출토 유물로 본 후기 십이대영자문화와 연문화의 네트워크

Network Between the late Shiertaiyingzi Culture and Yan Culture

기원전 6‧5세기~기원전 4세기대 후기 십이대영자문화에서는 연문화 요소가 지속적으로 확인된다. 이는 후기 십이대영자문화와 연산이남의 연문화 사이에 모종의 네트워크가 형성되어 있었기 때문이다. 그리고 이 네트워크는 우리가 생각하는 것처럼 하나의 후기 십이대영자문화 집단과 연문화 집단 간 단일한 네트워크는 아니었다. 남동구-동대장자유형은 연산이남 연문화의 중심지와 네트워크를 형성하고 있었다. 이 중에서도 동대장자유형은 후기 십이대영자문화 분포권에서 연산이남 연문화와 제일 인접한 지역에 위치한다. 그렇기 때문에 양 지역 간 문화교류도 왕성할 수 있었겠지만, 한편으로 연나라 입장에서는 이 지역이 가장 먼저 군사적 위협이 될 수 있는 지역이기도 했다. 따라서 이 네트워크는 군사적‧상업적 성격을 띠었을 것으로 보인다. 원대자 유적군은 연산이남 연문화의 2차 중심지와 네트워크를 형성하고 있었다. 당시 원대자 유적군은 후기 십이대영자문화권 내에서의 입지가 그다지 강하지 않았기 때문에 주변 여러 세력과 공존하는 방식으로 자신들의 명맥을 이어나가고자 하였던 것으로 추정된다. 이러한 배경 속에서 연나라는 요서지역에 일종의 군사적 완충지대 성격의 네트워크 거점을 형성하였던 것으로보인다. 정가와자유형은 연산이남 연문화 중심지 및 그 주변과 네트워크를 형성하고 있었다. 당시 요동지역의 중심 세력이었던 정가와자유형 집단의 정세를 파악하는 것은 연나라에게도 중요했을것이다. 다만, 지리적 한계로 인해 남동구-동대장자유형이나 원대자 유적군과 달리 어떤 정치‧ 외교적 성격의 네트워크를 구축했던 것으로 판단된다.

The late Shiertaiyingzi Culture and Yan Culture had coexisted during the 6‧5th and 4th centuries in Liaoning area. And They had different ways of coexistence respectively in Shiertaiyingzi Culture area. It’s because that they formed a different network connection among them. First of all, the Nandonggou-Dongdazhangzi Assemblage and Yan Culture network were formed between the top-tier classes. the Nandonggou-Dongdazhangzi Assemblage was directly closed to Yan Culture area located south of Yanshan mountain. Therefore, cultural exchanges between the two regions could have been active, but from the perspective of Yan state, this area was also the first place that could pose a military threat. So, this network would have had military and commercial characteristics. The network of Yuantaizi site group and Yan culture is the network formed with the sub center of Yan Culture located south of Yanshan mountain. At that time, the power of Yuantaizi site group was not strong in the late shiertaiyingzi culture area, so they used the way of coexistence with surrounding groups to ensure their own safety. Under this background, Yan state formed a network base of military buffer area in Liaoxi area. The network between Zhengjiawazi Assemblage and Yan culture was formed between two centers. It was very important for Yan state to grasp the situation of the Zhengjiawazi Assemblage, the central forces in Liaodong area at that time. Nevertheless, due to geographical constraints, unlike a Nandonggou-Dongdazhangzi Assemblage, it just needed to form a political and diplomatic network.
