О тематической структуре мемуаров К. Триполитовой «Маленькая балерина: Исповедь русской эмигрантки» (на примере лингвистического анализа темы балета)

Thematic Structure of K. Tripolitova’s Memoirs “Little Dancer: Confession of Russian Emigrant” (On the Example of Linguistic Analysis of the Ballet Theme)

Материалом для написания данной статьи послужила книга «Маленькая балерина: Исповедь русской эмигрантки» (2010). Это мемуары балерины Ксении Триполитовой (1915–2020), к которым применим социологический тезис о существовании связи между профессией и языком. В результате этой связи текст мемуаров оказывается наполнен особыми языковыми элементами, отражающими специфику балетной профессии. Данная статья посвящена рассмотрению тематической структуры книги на основе выделения тем, микротем, тематических слов с целью обнаружения сложных для понимания массовым адресатом участков текста. Анализ позволил установить два типа тем. Первый тип – это общедоступные темы (истории, семьи, мечты и др.), понятные широкому кругу читателей. Второй тип – темы узконаправленные, которые связаны с культурным балетным кодом и могут быть непонятны для «непросвещенного» читателя, далекого от балетной сферы. Центральная тема мемуаров – это профессиональная макротема балета, которая состоит из тем балетной техники, учителей и артистов балета. Эти три темы разбиваются на ряд микротем. Каждая микротема включает номинации и конструкции, знакомые представителям балетной профессии. Тема балетной техники состоит из микротем организации балетного пространства, физических данных, балетных движений и обучения. Тема учителей развивается при помощи микротемы вражды между балетными педагогами. Тема артистов наполняется микротемами балетных трупп, репертуара, ролей и амплуа, мест выступлений, костюмов. Проведенный анализ помог структурировать материал и обнаружить фрагменты текста, нуждающиеся в комментарии и пояснении. Дальнейшее исследование данной темы (лингвистический эксперимент, анализ мемуаров балерин разных эпох) позволит исследовать степень понимаемости мемуарного текста и составить краткий словарь балетных терминов в помощь читателю.

The base of this article is the book “Little Dancer: Confession of Russian Emigrant” (2010). These are the memoirs of ballerina Ksenia Tripolitova (1915-2020) to which a sociological idea about correlation between profession and language is applied. As a result, the memoirs are filled with special language elements which reflect specifics of ballet profession. In this article we focus on the thematic structure of the above-mentioned book by identification of the themes, micro-themes and thematic words to find unclear for collective addressee fragments of the memoirs. The analysis revealed two general types of the themes. First type are the publicly accessible themes (themes of history, family, dream etc.) that are probably understood by a wide collective addressee. Second one are the narrow professional themes which relate to the cultural ballet code and cause difficulty in understanding for non-professional readers. The central theme of ballerina’s memoirs is the professional macro-theme of ballet which fills with the themes of ballet technique, teachers and ballet dancers. These themes consist of some micro-themes. Each micro-theme includes nominations and constructions which are well known to the representatives of the ballet profession. The theme of ballet technique contains the micro-themes of ballet studio interior, physique, ballet movements and dance training. The theme of teachers includes the micro-theme of enmity between ballet teachers. The ballet dancers theme fills with micro-themes of ballet troupes, repertoire, roles, places of performances and costumes. The linguistic analysis of the memoirs helped us to structure the material and identify the fragments of the text that need additional commentary and clarification. Further research of this topic (a linguistic experiment, analysis of the ballet memoirs of different eras) will allow us to indicate the level of understanding of the memoirs and compile a lexicon of ballet terms to help the reader.
