A study of influencing factors on the residential satisfaction of urban planning as a residential environment factors

The research among IFEZ residents with regards to their satisfaction is summarized as follows:First, there are three categories as for living environment to characterize city planning and facilities that are security and health management, convenience, and comfortableness. I studied what kind of factors are related most to each category and how influential those factors are onto their living satisfaction level. The result shows that the crime prevention facility is related most to security, the distribution system and facility is most to convenience, and park and green facility is to comfortableness. Second, I analyzed the factors that have influenced on living satisfaction within the district city planning and facilities and then realized that each district has shown different preferences for condition of living satisfaction. In Songdo, the facilities related to security, crime prevention, transportation system, research and education, park and greens, convention or square plaza, and environment are the ones influential. The facilities related to safety control, distribution, research and education, park and greens, and square plaza are preferred in CheongNa while park and green related facilities are noted to affect the living satisfaction level in Yeongjong. Third, the satisfaction level in district comparison is ordered from Songdo, CheongNa, to Yeongjong. When compared IFEZ with other abroad example, the analysis of my study brings out the suggestion that the best factor to enhance the living satisfaction level in IFEZ will be a provision of appropriate hospital facility as well as decent educational system like international school and foreign college that is a key supportive feature to have a family secured and satisfied in living.
