A Study on the Housing Satisfaction and Housing Settlement by Administrative Region of Gyungkido Gwanggyo New Town

Gwanggyo New Town is one of the new towns that has been settled stably. Moreover, the Gwanggyo new town is divided into two cities within one new city, which means that the meaning is greater because the satisfaction can be compared more specifically. n particular, this study analyzed the differences between housing satisfaction and settlement factors by dividing into voluntary and involuntary movements. In addition, this study analyzed the importance of economic, social, environmental, and educational factors, which are the determinants of housing satisfaction. The residential satisfaction rate of Suwon and Yongin residents was higher than those of Yongin in terms of environmental factors. The IPA analysis also analyzed the housing satisfaction and importance of Suwon and Yongin residents. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 246 residents in Suwon city and 49 residents in Yongin city in Gwanggyo New City. At this time, the factors of housing satisfaction are classified into economic factors, social factors, environmental factors, educational factors, etc. to check the relationship between the factors.
