정보통신의 발달은 우리의 삶의 패턴뿐만 아니라, 교육 패러다임까지도 전환시켰다. 그것은 새로운 학습 테크놀로지를 가능하게 하였는데, e–Learning, m–Learning, social software의 세 가지 유형이 그것이다. 지식 정보화 사회에서의 디지털 미디어의 등장은 우리의 삶 속에 스며들어 우리가 미디어와 함께 숨쉬고, 함께 생활한다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 이렇게 지식 정보화 시대의 도래와 더불어 IT의 발전은 실로 눈부시게 이루어지고 있으며, 이들의 교육적 적용과 활용에 대한 노력 역시 끊임없이 이루어지고 있다. 정보화 사회에서 테크놀로지와 호흡하는 세대를 위해, 미디어를 이해하고, 미디어의 개념과 속성을 살피는 것은 매우 의미 있는 일이라고 할 수 있다. 미디어 교육은 많은 학자들에 의해서 다양한 개념으로 정의되고 있다. McLuhan은 미디어는‘커뮤니케이션 기술뿐만 아니라 인간 감각을 확장시킨 모든 기술을 포함시키고, 인간의 상호관계와 행동의 척도나 형태를 만들어내고 제어하는 것’이라고 한다. 정보화 사회에서 필요한 것은 수많은 정보를 얻는 것에 국한되는 것이 아니라, 얼마나 많은 양질의 정보를 취사선택할 수 있는 능력을 가지고 있느냐가 중요하다. 따라서 쏟아지는 정보의 홍수 속에서 비판적으로 정보의 가치를 구별하여 정보의 수여자, 창출자로서의 이중적 임무를 적절하게 수행하기 위해서, 정보화 사회에서의 미디어교육은“문자언어를 읽고, 쓰는 능력”에서 변화하는 사회에서의“적응 및 대처 능력”으로의 미디어 리터러시를 지향해야 한다.
For the Christian learners who would live in the full–blown information society of the 21st century, church education should starts the new directions to provide an the possible capabilities of information literacy requiring to the successful life in the forthcoming era. But Daniel Bell has already predicted that when a phenomenon of new culture burst creates the profanation, the learners in this era of information would gradually get apart from the education field no longer consolidating with any religious aspects, of course within the intellectual and expression boundary, but insisting individuals’rights based on the new era of information, which is much more free from the restrictions of old tradition. We still see hope even in this modern era which the individualism has been taken to its extreme because the answers to all practical questions, which humans refuse to face, are found in religion. Unlike the traditional style, which found its solution away from individualism and secularism, a new solution, which ‘insists the tradition and discovers a generation tie which will connect those who are dead, alive, and to come’is on the horizon from somewhere in this era of information. This era, as we humans continue to unfold it, could be the greatest accomplishment or the worst individualistic society but could be considered as a ‘chaotic and void’society itself. However, ‘God who hovering over the surface of the water’starts his never ending creation at the very end of chaos. Information society are one side of the far–reaching a series of change prescribing anti–industrial society at the same time and the other concept to capture the most leading figure of modern society. The modern society as the information society has the limitation because it has prescribed in the basis of economical side and it can not become clear correspondent conception, but the spreading effects of specific characters of information society spreading the whole field of society never could not say it partial. Specially today’s information society have some items of religious(christianity) problems to solve. At first, there are no ‘story’within us now. At this point, we don’t want ‘story’ which come from the theological prejudiced view discussing like as ‘narrative theology’, ‘story theology’, the ‘Jesus story’only needs to us. When the ‘Jesus story’which sink deeply into our lives and our bones become the story of life and story of community, and then we can say that ‘spirituality.’Next, the aimed thinking, the biblical text of christianity in the society of having no text which presented the ‘joint’, ‘connection’, ‘flowing’encountered the crisis to being ruined into the wave of secularization. Actually responding to more situation than the text in the field of christian education, or place of ministry is increasing. It is desirable to link between the social responsibility and christian spirituality, but the social responsibility or spirituality without text can not be christian spirituality. Accordingly like as self–transcendence of mystic religion, or enthusiastic(Deep–psycho-logical) church’s functions is not fit to say christian spirituality. Because there are no text. ‘No text’indicating information society, rather put the christian text back where it will become the essential restoration of spirituality. Finally, when we ask about the ‘human’, Bible says ‘Look at this man(ecce homo!)’ The lonely moderns has become the ‘joint’of knowledge or information in the information society never become ‘mature man’who live in the ‘mature world.’He is only desolate ‘navigator’or ‘nomads’who is very extempore and has no accumulation of knowledge. They must look at and meet Jesus who is suffering for themselves. So, it is the possession of ‘spirituality’that one meet a real fellow worker in the information society within which no one can become a fellow worker.
