최근 일상생활에서 접하는 각종 정보에서 우리는 쉽게 통계적 수치들을 접한다. 공교육분야에서도 변화무쌍한 현대 정보사회에 걸맞게 심리통계학을 활용하여 교육평가를 하고 있다. 그러나 정작 기독교교육에서 이러한 통계 이론들을 얼마나 활용하며 교류하는지는 의문이다. 한국의 기독교교육은 종교적 성숙을 초자연적이며 초자아적 실현으로 이해하는 전통적 입장에 머물러있다. 신학과 심리학의 통합 모델과 통계연구조사에 관한 연구는 답보상태에 머물러 있는 기독교교육의 현실을 새롭게 변화시키는 데 도움이 될 것이다. 이러한 통합 연구가 교육현장에서 갖는 의미들을 찾아본다.

Everyday, we are facing some types of statistical reports through our media. Do Christian educators understand and use these common tools of modern society? In contemporary Korean Christian education, we are staying at the same position of traditional understanding of our religious maturity by the super-natural and super-ego actualization. In public education, statistical research is the basic tool for the educational evaluation for better and new frame of educational system for our changed information technological society. The integrative model of psychology and theology and the methodology of statistical research can be combined to develop some suggestions for our new frame of Christian education. Here are few practical guidelines for the harmony of statistic research and Christian education and also teaching guidelines of the field.
