한국어와 일본어의 동형 한자어 비교 연구

Study on Sino words of identical forms of Korean and Japanese

목적 본 연구는 일본어권 한국어 학습자를 위해 기본어휘 중 한국어와 일본어의 동형 한자어를 비교·대조하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법 이를 위하여 한국의 국립국어원(2003)과 일본의 國立國語硏究所(2001)의 기본 어휘 중 동형의 한자어를 추출하여 분석하였다. 결과 5,965개의 한국어 기본어휘와 6,104개의 일본어 기본어휘를 비교하여 추출한 한·일 동형 한자어는 총 319개이며 이 중 2음절 한자어가 286개로 가장 많았다. 1음절 한자어는 23개, 3음절 한자어는 10개로 나타났다. 결론 319개의 동형한자어는 연구의 결과로 목록화하였으며 기초적인 7개의 어휘들을 병렬말뭉치를 통해 분석을 진행하여 의미적 차이를 밝혔다.

Objectives This study compares and contrasts the homomorphic Chinese words of Korean and Japanese among basic vocabulary for Japanese-speaking Korean learners. Methods To this end, Sino words of identical forms were extracted and analyzed from the basic vocabulary of the National Institute of the Korean Language (2003) and the Japanese Language Institute (2001). Results There were a total of 319 extracted Sino words of identical forms of Korean and Japanese, of which two-syllable Chinese words were the most, with 286 ones, 23 one-syllable Sino words, and 10 three-syllable Chinese characters. Conclusions 319 Sino words are presented as an appendix, and the analysis of these vocabularies are conducted through a parallel corpus to reveal semantic differences.
