세계화와 기독교교육의 과제

Globalization and the Tasks of Christian Education

연구자는 세계화의 의미를 신자유주의 사상을 중심으로 분석, 평가하고, 이에 대한 기독교교육적 과제를 논의하였다. 극단적인 개인주의, 경제적 효율성, 국가의 통제력 약화를 그 특징으로 하는 신자유주의는 경쟁주의를 강화시켰으며, 빈부격차의 심화로 인한 사회적 불평등을 야기하였고, 자원의 고갈과 환경파괴를 낳게 하였다. 기독교적 관점에서 볼 때, 이러한 신자유주의 사상은 결국 하나님과의 단절, 이웃과의 단절, 자연세계와의 단절, 자기 자신과의 단절을 초래하였다. 관계의 회복을 추구하는 기독교교육은 바로 이러한 단절의 회복을 샬롬의 추구라는 과제를 통하여 이루지 않으면 안 된다. 연구자는 통전적 기독교교육을 구성하기 위해서 전인적 통전성, 관계적 통전성, 시간적 통전성, 공간적 통전성, 소명적 통전성을 구체적으로 논의하였다.

This researcher studies on the meaning of globalization through analysis and evaluation of it from the perspective of neo-liberalism, and thereby offers the discussion of the tasks of Christian education to respond to it. Neo-liberalism with characteristics of extreme individualism, economic efficiency, and weakened national control, have increased competitive atmosphere in society, and caused social imbalance through the widening gap between the poor and the rich, and resulted in the exhaustion of natural resources and the environmental destruction. From the Christian perspective, this neo-liberalism has resulted in the severance of relationship with God, neighbors, natural world, and ourselves. Christian education, because it seeks to restore broken relationships, must pursue to restore these relationships through what is called the pursuit of shalom. In order to compose Christian education, this researcher specifically discussed whole-personal, relational, temporal, spatial, and vocational wholism.
