최근 글로벌 해운 환경 변화와 국내 대응 방안에 관한 연구

Study on the Recent Global Shipping Environment Change and Domestic Countermeasure

The commerce between developing countries or between developing country and advanced country can be seen as being occurred mostly from the GVC productionㆍtrading process. The global main shipping company’s have put their effort to absorb the marine transport concentrated in the Asian region and put their effort for transportation efficiency through securing consistent competitiveness and sharing waterway. Therefore in the global shipping market, the competition to secure the main shipping company with their based in the Asian region is fierce in the process of reorganizing alliance between shipping companies. And the global shipping market does its best to strengthen the transportation network between East-west main sea route of European sea route (Asia ↔ Europe) and North American sea route (Asia ↔ North America) through this. Therefore in order for Koreans shipping business in crisis to reform, the periodicㆍenvironmental demand of these market under the active aiding policy of the government must be properly applied. Also as the continuing distribution chaos caused from lacking ships and rapidly increasing fare under the pandemic situation resulting from the COVID-19, especially small-mid size export companies are experiencing numerous difficulties and a rational countermeasure is desperately necessary. Thus this study analyzes the main environment change of the recent global shipping market, especially the impact of ① Forming Asia-oriented shipping market, ② Reorganization of the global alliance, ③ Pandemic resulting from the COVID-19 have on the shipping market. And also wishes to seek for countermeasure for the invigoration of the related business under these environment. In addition, it wishes to seek for improvement measures regarding the current support policy system of Korea by compare and analyze the cases from foreign country and the policy of Korea for promoting related business. It is anticipated for the outcome of this study to be used as document for formulating efficient and rational shipping business support policy.
