Fish trade is becoming increasingly competitive both in local and in global markets due to sunrise of seafood consumption influenced by growth of modern lifestyle-induced food habits and increase in import on developing Countries. Nature characteristics of high perishability and expansion of GVC make fish trade increasingly exposure to NTMs. however, A study on fish trade effects of NTMs has not been activated until now, above of all, because of the limited and shortage of available NTMs data. the objective of this study is to how to get significant results considering zero trade flow that has received increasing attention in recent year when we analyze empirically the fish trade effects of NTMs in gravity modeling that is expected from now on. The existence of zero in trade data gives biased estimation results. I introduce several statistical methods(PPML, NBPML, ZIPML, ZINBPML, HSM) and organized a survey of related literatures on fish trade. Conclusively, the choice of the most appropriate estimator relies on the data-set that is share on zero trade and the researcher is considering robust check.
