기독교교육에서의 교육평가에 관한 한 연구

A Study of Education Evaluation in Christian Education－On the Thought of Nicholas Wolterstorff－

본 논문은 기독교교육에서의 교육평가를 자체의 이론으로 정립할 필요가 있음을 주장하며, 기독교적 교육평가의 개념화 및 운영원리에 대한 전제를 제시하고 있다. 교육평가를 교육활동 마지막 단계가 아닌 교육활동의 연장으로 상정하고, 교육목적에 근거한 교육평가를 논의하였다. 교육목적을 각 과의 학습목표가 아닌 교육을 통해 성취하고자 하는 인간상으로, 보다 넓은 의미로 접근했으며, 일반적으로 시행되고 있는 교육평가 즉, 내용 중심의 평가, 학습자의 지식 습득 정도를 파악하고, 서열화 하는 것으로는 교육목적 달성여부를 가늠할 수 없음을 논의하였다. 기독교적 교육평가의 전제가 요구되는 이유는 기독교적 인간상을 형성하기 위한 교육활동 후에 시행되는 교육평가 시간이 개인주의, 경쟁 중심, 결과 중심이 되는 비기독교적 상황이 연출되기 때문이다. 그러나 가장 개인적이며, 경쟁 중심이고, 결과 중심적일 수 있는 교육평가 시간을 기독교적 재해석을 통해 나누고, 섬기고, 협력함을 배우고 실천하는 시간으로 운영할 수 있으며, 이로 인해 기독교적 인간상 형성에 더 많은 기여를 할 수 있을 것으로 사료되기 때문이다. 기독교적 교육평가의 전제를 드러내기 위해 먼저 기독교교육의 목적을 Wolterstorff의 기독교교육 사상에 근거하여 책임성 있는 행동을 위한 교육, 감사를 위한 교육, 샬롬을 위한 교육으로 정의하였다. 이에 기초하여 기독교적 교육평가의 전제로써 섬김으로서의 평가, 공동체성 회복으로서의 평가, 축제로서의 평가를 제시하였다. 기독교적 교육평가의 전제에 근거한 교육평가의 한 가설적인 모형으로 ‘그룹 평가’를 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to claim that education evaluation should be identified as a single theory in christian education, and to suggest premise about the conceptualization and operation principle of education evaluation. This study has thought of education evaluation as not a last step of, but an extension of education and it has discussed about education evaluation based on education purpose. This study approached education purpose not through learning aim but through broad meaning of image of men. Generally, education evaluation which is focused on the contents, learning about how much the learner knows, and ranking will not give a prediction of education purpose achievement possibility. The reason why presupposition of christian education evaluation is needed is because an education evaluation operated after learning to develop an image of christian produces individualism, competition-oriented, and result-oriented results. But, individualism, competition-oriented, result-oriented education evaluation time can be converted by christian reinterpretation to a time where they can act and learn sharing, serving, and co-operation, and by this it is thought that it will contribute to making an image of a christian To show the presupposition of christian education evaluation, I first had to define christian education purpose based on the thought of Nicholas Wolterstorff to education for action, education for gratitude, and education for shalom. Based on this, I suggested christian education evaluation as evaluation by serving, evaluation by community recovery, and evaluation by festival. I proposed a group evaluation, a suppositional model based on presupposition of christian education evaluation.
