본 연구는 교회교육활동의 효과성을 측정할 수 있는 청소년 교회교육프로그램 흥미수준 측정 도구를 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 예비 연구를 수행하였다. 흥미 수준 측정도구 관련 연구를 참고하여, 7개의 하위요인과 36개의 예비 문항을 구성하였다. 하위요인은 일반적인 교육 흥미 5개 요인과 교회교육 활동 2개 요인으로 구성하였다. 이론적 탐색을 통해서 일반적인 교육 흥미 수준의 하위요인 5요인과 교회교육활동과 관련된 흥미 수준 2요인을 구성하였다. 수도권의 교회에 출석하는 청소년 119명을 대상으로 예비 검사를 실시하였고, 신뢰도 검증 결과 .73에서 .93까지 양호하게 나타났다. 그러나 교육내용 선호 요인에서 신뢰도를 저해하는 1개 문항을 제외하였다. 본 검사는 수도권 소재 교회에 출석하는 청소년 408명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 본 검사의 내적 합치도를 확인하기 위해 신뢰도 검증을 한 결과, 신뢰도는 .74에서 .93까지 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 구인 타당도 검증을 위해 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 초기 모형은 모형 적합도가 낮아 요인 부하량을 토대로 2문항을 제거하는 것으로 모형을 수정하여 다시 분석하였다. 수정모형의 적합도는 χ2=1643.676, df=474,p<.001, CFI=929, TLI=979, RMSEA=.055로 교회교육프로그램의 흥미수준을 측정하는 적합한 모형으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구는 7개 하위요인에 33개 문항으로 구성된 교회교육 프로그램 흥미수준 측정도구를 개발하였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 교회교육활동의 효과성을 측정할 수 있는 흥미수준 도구를 개발한 것이라고 할 수 있다.
The purpose of this study was to develop a interest level scale of the church education program for measuring the effectiveness of church education activities. The initial set of 36 items with 7 sub-constructs were generated from literature reviews. Preliminary study was conducted to evaluate content validity and reliability of the initial items with 119 Youth in the metropolitan area. Through the preliminary study, 1 items were removed based on the value of Cronbach α. After that, main study was conducted to examine the reliability and validity of the designed scale. The confirmatory factor analysis for validity test, examination of the 35 items scale indicated barely acceptable level of fit. The deletion of 3 items with cross-loading improved the model fit (χ2=615.284, df=284,p<.001, CFI=917, TLI=897, RMSEA=.057). Finally, utility and academic implication of the study were discussed.
