The border areas are connected by mountains and rivers, lacking isolation by natural barriers and physical facilities, and isolation measures are very simple in many areas. People in border areas live in close contact, and there are many ports and passages. Smuggling frequently occurs during the epidemic. Since Ruili epidemic broke out for the first time in September last year, many border counties and cities in Yunnan Province have also upgraded their epidemic prevention and control measures. Due to the special geographical location of Yunnan Province, the development of epidemic prevention and control in Yunnan Province is easily affected by the factors of neighboring countries. Therefore, it is an urgent task to strengthen the construction of border blocking (isolation) facilities and prevent the epidemic from spreading into Yunnan from the source.
