초중고 학생의 교내·외 진로교육 프로그램 (진로활동, 진로체험) 만족도가 진로개발 역량에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Satisfaction with Career Education Program (Career Activities, Career Experience) on the Career Development Competency of Elementary, Middle and High School Students

이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 초중고 학생의 교내·외 진로교육 프로그램 만족도가 이들의 진로개발역량에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하는 데 있다. 이 연구에서는 교육부와 한국직업능력개발원이 수집한 ‘학교 진로교육 현황조사(2019)’ 자료를 이용하였다. 이 조사의 응답자는 초등학생 7,501명, 중학생 8,917명, 고등학생 8,365명이다. 자료분석은 연구도구의 신뢰도, 기술통계, 상관계수, 그리고 중다회귀분석을 수행하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초중고 학교급별 모두 교내·외 진로교육 프로그램(진로활동, 진로체험) 만족도와 진로개발역량간에는 유의한 정적상관이 있었다. 둘째, 초등학생의 진로개발역량에 교내·외 진로활동만족도가 유의한 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 중고등학생의 진로개발역량에 교내·외 진로교육 프로그램(진로활동, 진로체험) 만족도 모두 유의한 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 연구결론을 토대로 초중고 학생의 교내·외 진로교육 프로그램에 대한 시사점과 후속 연구를 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze how satisfaction withKorean elementary, middle and high school students career educationprograms affects their career development competencies. This studyused data from the Survey on Career Education in Schools (2019) collected by the Ministry of Education and the Korea ResearchInstitute for Vocational Education & Training. The respondents of thissurvey were 7,501 elementary school students, 8,917 middle schoolstudents, and 8,365 high school students. For data analysis, reliabilityof research tools, descriptive statistics, correlation coefficients, andmultiple regression analysis were performed. The major researchresults are as follows: First, there was a significant positivecorrelation between satisfaction with the career education program(career activities, career experiences) and career developmentcompetency in both elementary and secondary schools. Second,satisfaction with career activities inside and outside school had asignificant positive effect on the career development competency ofelementary school students. Third, satisfaction with career educationprograms (career activities, career experiences) in and out of schoolhad significantly affected career development competencies of middleand high school students. Based on these research findings,suggestions and follow-up studies on the in-school and out-of-schoolcareer education programs of elementary, middle and high schoolstudents were proposed.
