Chungcheongnam-do-type Democratic Citizenship Education Fellowship Study

이 연구는 민주시민교육의 국제적 흐름과 국내의 정책을 비교하면서 민주시민교육 정책에 부합한 민주시민교육의 교육 방법론을 제시하고 폭넓은 이용이 가능하도록 보편적인 교육 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 먼저 민주시민교육이 근대의 전통적 교육 방법론과 구분되어야 하므로 민주시민교육의 교육 기조를 구성주의에 입각한 접근방식을 정의하고, 미국, 독일, 일본의 민주시민교육 정책과 국내 민주시민교육 정책을 비교 분석한다. 이를 통해 민주시민교육이 국내 특성을 반영토록 하고 더 나아가 충청남도 민주시민교육 5년 계획을 비교 분석하여 충청남도의 민주시민교육 목적과 목표를 정의한다. 이를 바탕으로 교실 안에서의 민주시민교육과 교실 밖으로의 민주시민교육 그리고 교실 밖에서의 민주시민교육 사례와 방법론을 제시함으로써 민주시민교육은 교사가 학생을 가르치는 것이 아닌 함께 성장해야 하는 공동체적 교육이 진행되어야 함을 논거를 두고자 한다.

This study presents the educational methodology of democratic citizenship education that is consistent with the democratic citizenship education policy and presents a universal educational methodology for wide use. First, democratic citizenship education must be differentiated from the modern traditional educational methodology. Therefore, an approach based on constructivism is defined for the educational basis of democratic citizenship education, and the democratic citizenship education policy of the United States, Germany, and Japan is compared and analyzed with the domestic democratic citizenship education policy. Through this, democratic citizenship education should reflect the characteristics of the country. The purpose and goals of Chungcheongnam-do s democratic citizenship education are defined by comparing and analyzing the 5-year plan for democratic citizenship education in Chungcheongnam-do. Based on this, examples and methodologies of democratic citizenship education in the classroom, democratic citizenship education outside the classroom, and democratic citizenship education are presented. In democratic citizenship education, the teacher should not teach the students, but a community education that should grow together.
