대학생 역량강화를 위한 학습분석학 기반 교수자 대시보드 프로토타입 개발 연구

A Study on the Development of Faculty Dashboard Prototype Based on Learning Analytics for University Students Competency Enhancement: A University of Engineering Students

본 연구의 목적은 대학교육에서 교수학습의 질을 개선하기 위해 학습분석 기반의 교수자용 대시보드 프로토타입을 개발하고, 실제 현장에서 활용가능한 시사점을 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 공대계열 학생들의 핵심역량 관련 인재지수의 구인 영역, 학습활동의 질관리 척도, 학습역량 자가진단 조사 등의 다양한 데이터를 수집하였고, 수집된 데이터를 선별하여 2차에 걸친 전문가 휴리스틱 평가를 통해 교수자 대시보드 프로토타입을 개발하였다. 연구 결과는 학습관리시스템(LMS)뿐만 아니라 대학에서 주기적으로 실시하는 핵심역량 진단과 공학계열 학생의 역량강화를 위해 기본적인 학습역량 진단 데이터와 공학계열 학생의 인재역량을 측정할 수 있는 공학 인재지수를 활용하여 교수학습을 지원할 수 있는 보다 다양하고 유용한 정보를 활용하고 실질적인 프로그램을 제공했다는 데 의의가 있다. 또한, 지속되는 온라인 교육 상황에서 학습자의 자기주도적 학습 능력의 필요성이 더욱 강조되고 있는 시점에서 교수자가 자신의 티칭 상황과 학생들의 학습 참여 상황을 분석하여 적절한 개입이 필요한 학생들을 지원하는 데 유용한 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the data collected based on learning analysis to improve the quality of teaching in university education to develop a dashboard prototype for professors suitable for the university educational environment and practical use in the field, and derive implications. To this end, various data such as recruitment areas of the core competency-related talent index of engineering students, quality control measures of learning activities, and self-diagnosis of learning capabilities were collected, and two rounds of expert heuristic evaluation were developed. The findings are significant in that they provided more useful information and practical programs to support teaching by utilizing basic learning capability diagnostic data and engineering talent index to measure engineering students capabilities, as well as LMS. In addition, at a time when the need for learners self-directed learning skills is further emphasized in the ongoing online education context, it is expected that professors can analyze their teaching situations and students learning engagement and use them as useful materials to support students who need appropriate intervention.
