SNS를 활용한 부모교육프로그램 개발과 효과 검증

The development and effectiveness verification of a parent education program using SNS: Focusing on the SNS utilization ability and parenting efficacy of parents with young children

본 연구의 목적은 영유아 자녀를 둔 부모를 중심으로 SNS를 활용한 부모교육프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 연구자는 5단계 절차에 따라 SNS를 활용한 부모교육프로그램을 개발하고, 그 효과를 광주광역시 N 어린이집과 P 어린이집의 학부모 13명을 대상으로 살펴보았다. SNS를 활용한 부모교육프로그램의 목적은 SNS를 활용한 부모교육프로그램에 적극적으로 참여함으로써 부모의 SNS 활용능력과 양육효능감을 향상하는 것으로, 부모의 SNS 활용능력과 양육효능감 향상에 이바지하는 내용과 교수-학습 방법으로 프로그램이 구성되었다. 프로그램의 효과 검증은 대면과 비대면의 방식으로 2020년 6월 3일부터 7월 30일까지 8주 동안 진행되었다. 연구결과는 부모의 SNS 활용능력과 양육효능감이 유의하게 향상한 것으로 나타났다. 본 프로그램을 통해 SNS를 효과적으로 이용하는 방법을 습득하고 다른 부모와 활발하게 소통하면서 부모의 SNS 활용능력과 양육효능감이 향상한 것이다. 결국 본 연구는 SNS를 활용한 부모교육프로그램의 효과성을 보여줌으로써 부모가 소통하면서 자발적으로 양육지식과 기술을 습득하고 실천하는 부모교육프로그램을 개발하고 효과를 입증하는 데 그 의의가 있다.

This study aims to develop a parent education program using SNS for parents with young children and to investigate the effects of the program. Researchers developed a parent education program using SNS according to 5 steps, and investigated the effects of the program for 13 parents whose young children attending N preschool and P preschool in Gwangju metropolitan city. The purpose of a parent education program using SNS was to improve the parents’ SNS utilization ability and parenting efficacy by actively participating in the parent education program using SNS. The program was composed of the contents and teaching-learning methods to contribute to improving the parents’ SNS utilization ability and parenting efficacy. The effectiveness verification of the program was conducted for eight weeks from the 3rd of June to the 30st of July in 2020 using a contact or contact-free way. The results of this study showed that the scores of the parents’ SNS utilization ability and parenting efficacy were meaningfully increased. That is to say, a parent education program using SNS positively affected increasing the parents’ SNS utilization ability and parenting efficacy. Parenting efficacy increased because parents learned the methods of utilizing SNS effectively and communicating other parents vividly through the program. As a result, it is meaningful for this study to develop and prove the effects of the parent education program that parents voluntarily acquire and practice knowledge and skills on child rearing through communication with other parents by showing the effectiveness of a parent education program using SNS.
