그림책 연계 역할놀이를 통한 수학적 경험이 만 2세 영아의 수학개념 발달 및 언어표현력에 미치는 영향

The effect of mathematical experience through role play based on picture books on the development of mathematical concepts and language expression of 2-year-old Infants

본 연구의 목적은 그림책 연계 역할놀이를 통한 수학적 경험이 만 2세 영아의 수학개념 발달 및 언어 표현력에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것이다. 연구 대상은 G시에 소재한 H어린이집과 L어린이집에 재원 중인 만 2세 영아 28명(실험집단 14명, 비교집단 14명) 이었다. 실험집단은 그림책 연계 역할놀이를 통한 수학적 경험을 진행하였고, 비교집단은 역할놀이를 통한 수학적 경험을 진행하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0 통계 프로그램을 사용해 분석하였다. 실험집단과 비교집단 간 동질성을 검증하기 위하여 t-검증을 실시하였다. 또한 그림책 연계 역할놀이를 통한 수학적 경험이 수학개념 발달과 언어표현력 발달에 미치는 효과를 검증하기 위하여 실험집단과 비교집단의 평균과 표준편차를 산출한 뒤, 공분산분석(ANCOVA)를 실시하였다. 연구결과 그림책 연계 역할놀이를 통한 수학적 경험이 만 2세 영아의 수학개념 발달 및 언어표현력 발달에 긍정적인 결과를 나타냈다. 본 연구는 어린이집 현장에서 활용될 수 있는 그림책 연계 역할놀이를 통한 영아들의 수학적 경험 지원방법을 제공했다는 것에 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of mathematical experiences via the picture book based role playing on the development of mathematical concepts and the linguistic expressiveness of 2-year-old infants. We survey the twenty eight 2-year-old infants of H and L child care center in G city; half of them are in the experimental group for mathematical experiences via the picture book based role playing, and the other half in the control group without picture books. We employ the SPSS 25.0 statistical program to analyze the collected data. We perform the t-test to verify the homogeneity between the experimental group and the control group. We also carry out the covariance analysis(ANCOVA) with derivation of the mean and standard deviation of each groups. The result points out that mathematical experiences via the picture book based role playing have an affirmative effect on the development of mathematical concepts and the linguistic expressiveness of 2-year-old infants. We note that this study introduces a method to support mathematical experiences of infants via the picture book based role playing, which can be utilized in the child care center.
