A number of traditional medical treatises written by Mongolian scholars has been found and preserved to date. One of them is Persimmon’s Treasury of Wonders (ngo mtshar dga’ ston; Маш гайхамшигт хуримын сан), which was written by Cho Gyatso in 1922. In this study, the content of Persimmon’s Treasury of Wonders were overviewed and compared to the other important sources of traditional medicine such as Four Medical Tantras (rgyud bzhi) the principle textbook of Tibetan medicine, Crystal Rosary (shel phreng) by the Tibetan scholar Tenzin Phuntsok (18th century), White Crystal Mirror (shel dkar me long) by the Mongolin scholar Sumpa Khenpo Yeshe Paljor (1704-1788), Identifiable Knowledge of Medicine (sman ngo shes byed) by the Mongolian scholar Chahar Geshe Lobsang Tsultrim (1740-1810), Wonderful Illumination to the Understanding of Knowledge (mdzes mtshar mig rgyan) by the Mongolian scholar Naiman Toin Jamphel Dorje (1792-1855), Medical and Medicinal Collection (gces btus snying nor) by the Mongolian scholar Lobsang Chopel (19th century) and Satisfaction for the Readers (mthong ba dga’ byed) by the Mongolian scholar Jigme Tenzin Gyatso (19th-20th century).
