Tuoba was used as ethnic name, began around at Jiefen period. “Tuoba” may be the translation which were from the language of Tuoba that was in some meaning of words in Chinese character. Tuoba-Xianbei originated in the northern section of the Daxing an Mountain range. The first origins of the North-Xianbei and East-Xianbei should be the same.
