Olede Garrison was a part of Qing Dynasty‘s garrisons in Xiniiang,from 1764(QianLong 29) in which the Olede Garrison was built (founded/established) to 1938 in which it organizational system was repealed(annuled). Olede Garrison had existed for 200 years.During the long time, Olede Garr on s Mongolian soldiers and civilians have made immortal contributions for the economy and the construction of national defence of the northwest China. Olede Garrison opening up wasteland and being in charge of pastureland were a component part of Qing Dynasty‘s opening up wasteland in Xinjiang.My paper try to probe into Olede Garrison contribution for the economic development of the Chinese border area in northwest to bring to light the historial process which Olede Garrison‘s Mongolian soldiers and civilians have developed the economy of Xinjiang from more backward to more flourishing with all of the people in Xinjiang.
