Comparative Study on Meat Diet Culture in Korea and Mongol

The relations in Korea and Mongol have been reporting the explanation in many sidedness of cultural anthropology, ethnology, prehistory, archeology, folklore, linguistics and genetics etc.. Among them, the fact is well known which the root of Korean life and culture is made up from the nomadic people of Mongol through Eurasia. According to the movement of the race and culture, there were created the original culture by adding an agricultural culture of China and Bronze Culture of North area in Korean Peninsula. However, there were basically remained the preference and cooking method of meat eating in both of Korea and Mongol On the occasion of such like this historical background, it is meaningful that the meat diet culture is compared with each other in both countries. In the part of Korea, it is reported on Mekjuk of Mekjok, the effect of Buddism in the period of Three Kingdom, the revival of meat diet culture by Mongolian and the cult polcy of Confucianism and the meat diet culture in Chosun Age. In the part of Mongol, it is reported on the meat diet culture as nomadic people in Mongol, the skillful butchery, the exellency in meat cooking method. On the similarity of meat dietary life in both countries, it is compared with about soup, boiled meat, steamed meat, dried meat, mandu (Korea) and pozu (Mongol), noodle, dumpling, suede (Korea) and gedes (Mongol), etc.. On the differences, Korean eats traditionary rare meat and use many kinds of spices and vegetables, and cooking methods are developed in variety compare with Mongol`s simple seasoning.
