Whitebacked planthopper (WBPH) is a pest that causes serious damage to rice in Asian countries with a mild climate. WBPH everely negative affects rice yield and grain quality. Plants resist stress by expressed various genes such as kinase, phytohormones, transcript factors, especially secondary metabolites.
