Objectives: This study aims to help improve the ability to cope with emergency situations in clinical practice and use it as basic data for developing curriculum and programs by examining the relationship between dental hygiene and students attitudes toward CPR and self-efficacy. Methods: The subjects were 127 freshman, sophomore, and junior year dental hygiene students who were surveyed from October 30 to November 20, 2020. Results: Cognition and behavior (r=0.376), emotion (r=-0.190), and self-efficacy (r=-0.284) have significant correlation. Behavior and emotion (r=-0.397), and self-efficacy (r=0.452) have a significant correlation. Emotion and self-efficacy (r=-0.350) have a significant correlation. Conclusions: A correlation exists between dental hygiene and students attitude toward basic CPR and self-efficacy.
