Factors Influencing Patient Safety Competency on Confidence in Patient Safety Management in Dental Hygiene Student

Objectives: The study surveyed 150 dental hygiene students to find out the factors influencing Patient safety competency on confidence in patient safety management in dental hygiene student. Methods: In general characteristics, patient safety management was investigated patient safety knowledge, attitude, skill and studied using tools of patient safety competency on confidence. Results: Research shows that factors influencing patient safety competency on confidence are patient safety knowledge and skill. Conclusions: As a result, it is necessary to provide dental hygiene student with a patient safety-related education program that can be used in the field of practice.
