특수교육대상학생을 위한 고교학점제 방향 탐색

An Investigation on the Directions for High School Credit System for Students with Special Needs

연구목적: 본 연구는 고교학점제 시행과 관련한 특수교육의 방향성 및 적절한 지원 방안을 마련하는 데 도움이 되도록 기초 자료를 제공하는 것에 목적을 두었다. 연구방법: 첫째, 고교학점제 관련 선행연구 40편을 고교학점제 시행을 위한 교육과정 편성·운영과 여건 마련의 범주에 따라 하위 9가지로 코딩하여 분석하였다. 둘째, 최소 학업성취 수준 보장 지도 프로그램 운영 사례 8건을 운영 목적과 운영 내용에 따라 각 하위 범주 별로 코딩하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 및 결론: 첫째, 선행연구의 주제별 연구 동향 분석 결과, 고교학점제 관련 이론 및 쟁점 고찰, 고교학점제 교육과정 편성·운영을 위한 국내외 사례 탐색 및 국제 비교, 고교학점제 관련 당사자 및 관계자의 인식으로 구분할 수 있었다. 둘째, 선행연구에서 다룬 고교학점제 쟁점 분석 결과, 과목 선택권 확보 및 학습의 질 개선에 대해 가장 많이 다루었으며 이어서 환경 개선, 교과평가, 교과목 구성, 이수기준, 학점 배당 기준, 진로·학업설계 지원, 졸업요건, 학업성취지도 보장 프로그램 순으로 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 최소 학업성취 수준 보장 지도 프로그램 운영 사례 분석 결과, 운영 목적에 따라 미이수 예방, 보충 지도, 미이수 예방과 보충지도 순으로 나타났으며, 운영 내용에 따라 교과학습, 상담, 학습 능력 형성 지원, 진로 탐색, 기타 프로그램 순으로 이루어지고 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 고교학점제의 취지를 살린 모든 학생의 학습권 보장, 고교학점제 취지에 부합하는 교육과정 편성·운영, 고교학점제 대비 특수교육대상학생에 대한 진로·직업교육의 내실화를 중심으로 논의하며 향후 방향성 설정에 필요한 시사점을 도출하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide fundamental ideas for suggesting the directions of special education related to the implementation of the high school credit system and preparing support plans. Method: First, 40 previous studies on the high school credit system were coded and analyzed into nine subcategories by the taxonomy of curriculum arrangement and implementation. Second, eight cases of programs that aimed to guarantee students’ minimal level of academic achievement were analyzed according to the purpose of operation and the program contents. Results and Conclusion: First, the analytical result of subject-based research trends were classified into three primary areas, including a review on theories and issues, comparisons between domestic and overseas cases, and perspectives of stakeholders on the high school credit system. Second, when analyzing the analytic taxonomy, the subject selection right and improving the quality of learning were researched the most. Third, with the result of program cases analysis, the purpose of the operations was divided into (a) prevention of incomplete, (b) supplementary instruction, and (c) both. The contents of program were operated the most as followed: subject studies, counseling, supports to develop learning abilities, career exploration, and other programs in order. Based on the results, discussions and suggestions were presented.
