The management-type land trust is frequently used in financing real estate development projects as it separates the project from the overall risk of the project operator/trustor and allows for a safer implementation of the project, but there are not many documents actually used in practice that have been systematically organized. The purpose of this study is to organize general facts and the practical issues regarding such land trust in assisting the relevant parties to increase their understanding of such land trust and the practical issues related to it based on the firsthand experience of finance lawyers who have dealt with various issues related to the management-type land trust.
