초임 대학강사의 강의 경험에 대한 내러티브 탐구

A Narrative Exploration of Teaching Experiences of Novice College Instructors: Three Early Childhood Instructors’ Stories

본 연구의 목적은 초임 유아교육 강사가 한 학기 동안 강의를 실행하는 과정에서 경험한 교수자의 어려움과 성장 과정을 탐색하는 데 있다. 연구 대상은 초임 유아교육 강사 3명이며, 연구자와연구 참여자가 같은 셀프내러티브탐구 방법을 활용했다. 연구기간은 2018년 9월부터 2019년 1월까지이며, 자료는 개별 성찰일지와 모임 대화 내용 녹음 및 전사본, 수업 촬영을 통해 수집했다. 연구결과로 세 초임 강사의 강의 경험을 살펴보고 그 의미를 찾고자 하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면, 세강사들은 학사 운영과정에서 교수학습 기술 및 평가, 새로운 인간관계와 관련해 어려움을 경험했다. 또한 세 강사는 자신의 강의를 ‘소통을 강조한 현장 중심의 강의’, ‘학습자의 특성을 반영하고경험을 공유한 강의’, ‘생각할 수 있는 기회를 부여한 학습자 참여 강의’로 발전시켰다. 끝으로, 본연구는 연구결과를 바탕으로 대학 내 초임 강사를 위한 역량 강화 연수 개설, 학과 구성원과 소통할 기회의 필요성, 교수학습 공동체 구성을 위한 재정적 지원을 제언하는 바이다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the realistic constraints and growth process of novice early childhood instructors experienced during the course of one semester s lectures. The subjects of this study were three novice early childhood education instructors, and the researcher and the research participants used the same self-narrative inquiry method. The study period was from September 2018 to January 2019, and the data were collected through individual reflection journals,recordings of meeting conversations, transcriptions, and filming classes. The results of the study showed that novice instructors experienced difficulties in assessing and making new relationships in the course of their Bachelor s management. In addition, the three instructors developed their lectures into three areas: field-oriented lectures utilizing various methods of teaching ;, lectures that reflect the characteristics of learners and shared experiences ;, and lectures giving opportunities for learners to think for themselves . Finally, based on the findings of this study, this study suggests the following: the establishment of capacity building training for novice instructors in universities;, the need for opportunities to communicate with department members’, and financial support for the formation of teaching and learning communities.
