<字類註釋>의 동자동석(同字同釋) 중출(重出) 연구

A Study on the Same Chinese Letters with the Same Explanation Appearing Repeatedly in <Jaryujuseok>

수록 표제한자 수가 10,800여 자에 달하는 <자류주석>(1856)은 표제한자, 한글 자석, 한문주석을 정밀하게 갖춘 한자학습서이자 분류어휘집이다. 그 체재나 수록 정보 면에서 매우 특징적인 양상이 많은 문헌이다. 본고에서는 <자류주석>에 나타나는 동자동석(同字同釋)의 중출자 48자를 대상으로 한글 자석, 한문주석, 수록부류 등을 분석하여 표제한자 중출의 의미와 중출 표제한자의 쓰임을 짚어 보았다. <자류주석>에 나타나는 동자동석(同字同釋)의 중출은 단순 중복이나 오류가 아니라 문맥 쓰임에 따른 한자 정보의 확대와 어휘의 다의성을보여준다. <자류주석>의 방대하고 면밀한 정보 제시 양상은 이전의 한자초학서들과는 차별화된 특징이다. 이는 한자 자석자료로서 매우 진보된 양상이라고 할 수 있다.

<Jaryujuseok> (1856) including around 10,800 headwords of Chinese characters is a Chinesetextbook and a classified Chinese vocabulary book with details of headwords of Chinese characters,meanings of Chinese characters written in Korean language and annotation of Chinesecharacters. It features characteristic aspects both in terms of structure and information included. This research analyzed meanings of Chinese characters written in Korean language, annotationof Chinese characters, and categories with headwords included by targeting 48 headwords of thesame Chinese letters with the same explanation, repeatedly appearing in <Jaryujuseok>. Moreover,it also examined meanings of multiple appearances of headwords and use of headwords shownmultiple times. The same Chinese letters with the same explanation appearing repeatedly in<Jaryujuseok> shows the extension of Chinese characters related information and polysemy ofwords rather than just repetition or errors. That <Jaryujuseok> provides massive and elaborateinformation is distinctly differentiated from Chinese books for beginners published in the previousperiod. It can be considered to have much advanced features as materials for understanding themeanings of Chinese characters written in Korean language.
