This study aims to comparatively analyze the appropriateness of the middle school science textbooks prepared of the 7th Curriculum with respect to the required objectives of the curriculum, which introduces the in-depth and supplementary differentiated curriculum. The learning objectives of the 7th middle school science textbooks by Klopfer s taxonomy of educational objectives reflect the requirement of the curriculum more compatibly than those of the 6th, still they need more apportionment for the category I.0, orientation. And generally, the types of the inquiry activity, the instructional method, and the context are limited. It is necessary to present various activities and contexts in the in-depth and supplementary lessons which learn the contents of the basic lessons repeatedly. In order to fulfill the objectives of the curriculum, the curriculum developer should describe the curriculum and it s commentary elaborately, an author of textbook should have full understandings of the curriculum and pay special attention to his choice of contents, and teachers should have thorough knowledge of curriculum and reconstitute diverse materials to make use of.
