작은 생물에 대한 5E 학습모형 기반 초등과학 디지털교과서 개발 사례 연구

A Case Study for Developing Digital Textbook on Small Organisms Based on 5E Learning Model in Elementary Science

이 연구는 초등과학의 작은 생물 내용에 대해서 5E 학습모형 기반 디지털교과서를 개발하고 적용해보는 사례 연구이다. 디지털교과서의 저작도구는 iBooks Author를 사용하였다. 개발된 디지털 교과서는 작은 생물에 대해서 구조적 및 생태적 특징을 제공하고 있다. 또한 이 디지털교과서는 상호작용이 가능한 멀티미디어 위젯을 기반으로 개발되었다. 개발된 디지털교과서는 학생과 교사들을 대상으로 교과내용, 플랫폼, 사용자 만족성 등의 범주에서 평가를 실시하였으며, 대체로 긍정적인 평가를 얻었다.

This study was to develop a self-directed, motivated, and adaptive digital textbook on small organisms using 5E learning model in Elementary Science. iBooks Author was used as the authoring tool to develop digital textbook. The developed digital textbook could provide structural and ecological characteristics on small organisms. The digital textbook was designed to use easily operated motivating materials, diversely presented learning contents, interactive multi-media tools, and evaluation tools presented in various types. An evaluation on the digital textbook for teachers and students was shown favorable responses in validity of contents, platform design and user satisfaction.
