Due to the Covid-19 pandemic continues to spread worldwide and the Geo-political vacuum left after the withdrawal of troops of United States in Afghanistan about one month ago, terrorist groups have obtained a respite and are planning to launch new terrorist attacks. The anti-terrorism struggle in the era of pandemic has inevitably made countries facing the risks and difficulties of two fights: epidemic and terrorism. China, one of countries facing those challenges, cannot stay out of the situation either. Specific to Southwest China and its neighboring countries, the counterterrorism under pandemic will inevitably require new ideas, strategies and means.
