This article strives to show that the proper understanding of the Fourfold Gospel in the Korea Evangelical Holiness Church must preunderstand the theology of Nakada Jujii, who founded the Oriental Mission Society (OMS) in Tokyo, Japan. This article concedes that the Fourfold Gospel of Nakada Jujii has both a similarity and dissimilarity with the early Methodist doctrine. Moreover, this article sheds more light on the differences between the Fourfold Gospel of Nakada Juji and the Early Methodist doctrines. The difference between these doctrines are that Nakada Jujii uses the notion of the new birth instead of justification, emphasizes the baptism of the Holy Spirit as sanctification, and supports the premilliennial second coming of Jesus Christ.
