선행조직자 모형을 활용한 초등학생 알고리즘 학습 이러닝 적용 연구

The Application Study of an Algorithm e-Learning Program for Elementary School Students Using the Advance Organizer Model

현대 정보화 사회에서는 기존의 지식을 활용하여 문제를 해결할 수 있는 능력을 요구하고 있다. 특히, 문제해결의 과정과 밀접한 관련이 있는 컴퓨터 알고리즘 학습에 있어서 학습자의 경험지식을 활용하고 재구성하여 문제를 해결할 수 있는 능력을 향상시키기 위한 교육이 절실히 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 선행조직자 모형을 이용하여 학습자들의 알고리즘에 대한 학습 동기와 학업성취도를 향상시킬 수 있는 새로운 알고리즘 학습 이러닝 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 초등 현장에 적용하여 그 효과성을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 선행조직자 모형을 적용한 알고리즘 학습 프로그램이 학습자의 알고리즘 관련 학업성취도와 학습동기에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구를 통하여 초등학생의 알고리즘 교수·학습의 질 향상 및 알고리즘 관련 교재 개발에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것이라 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to verify the effects of the Advance Organizer Model (AOM) embedded in algorithm learning to elementary school students learning motivation and learning achievement in computer education. For this goal, we developed a new e-learning program for teaching and learning that can improve the students learning achievement and learning motivation based on the AOM. In addition, we applied the program to elementary school students and analyzed its effects. As a result, through the before-and-after t-verifications performed on the experimental group and the control group respectively, there existed statically significant differences between these two groups, and effectiveness was proved in leaner s academic achievement and learning motivation. According to these results, it has been proved that the e-learning program applied the AOM is helpful for students comprehension, positive motivation on algorithm learning and improvement of learning achievement.
