국어교사의 성별에 따른 쓰기평가 특성 분석

The Characteristics Analysis of Korean Language Teacher s Gender on the Writing Assessment

이 연구는 쓰기 평가에 영향을 미치는 평가 요인 중 평가자의 성별에 따른 특성, 성별에 따른 평가 요인 적용의 특성과 평가 등급 구분에 대해 살펴보고 있다. 이를 위해 남자 국어교사 4명과 여자 국어교사 5명에게 중학생 논설문 40편을 평가하게 하였다. 그 결과 남교사는 여교사에 비해 더 엄격하게 평가를 하는 경향이 나타났다. 평가 요인에서는 남녀교사 모두 내용 요인에 대해 관대한 평가를 보였다. 그러나 차순위에서는 차이를 보였다. 평가 등급 구분에서는 남녀교사 모두 적절하게 등급 간 차이를 두고 평가를 하였다. 이 연구를 통해 성별에 따른 평가자의 특성을 파악함으로써 객관적이고 타당한 평가가 이루어지기를 기대한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the rater s characteristics on gender and the severity of applying assessment constructs and the distinction of assessment scale as rater s gender. In order to this, 4 male teachers and 5 female teacher assessed 40 persuasive writing of middle school students. The results are following. The male teachers were more severer than female teachers. As analyzed subordinate construct of assessment, male and female teachers assessed generously the content. But the ranking of rest constructs was different. The distinction of assessment scale was adequate for male and female teachers. The study expects to develop objective and valid writing assessment.
