과학문화의 시대, 과학예술 융복합교육 방법

The Era of Science and Culture, Science and Arts Convergence Education Method: Focusing on the documentary Merchants of Doubt

본 연구는 과학문화의 시대에 필요한 과학예술 융복합교육을 통해 살펴보았다. 교육현장에서 학습자들인 MZ세대들은 과학을 문화로 누리고 있다. 이들을 위한 교양교육의 방법으로 그들이 누리는 과학기술과의 융복합을 통한 과학교양교육을 시도해 볼 수 있다. 이를 위해 과학예술 융복합교육의 의미와 그 필요성을 교수자, 학습자, 그리고 사회적 측면에서 살펴보았다. 다음으로 과학예술 융복합교육에 핵심역량으로 창의, 의사소통, 내용융합, 배려의 측면에서 구현할 수 있는 과학문화 활동 사례를 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 과학예술 융복합교육의 교육적 방향을 교육목표, 교과목 개발, 교수법 측면에서 순차적으로 살펴보았다. 특히 ‘의혹을 파는 사람들(다큐멘터리)’를 활용한 과학예술 융복합 교육설계(안)를 설계해 보았다. 무엇보다도 과학교양교육의 핵심은 흥미, 재미, 그리고 호기심을 통한 학습 동기 제고와 진로설계에 도움을 줄 수 있다. 이와 같은 과학교양교육의 교육적 목표를 성취하기 위해서는 과학예술 융복합 교육과정, 교과목 개발, 그리고 다양한 교수법 설계와 실현을 위한 관계자들에 대한 적극적인 지원이 필요하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

This paper was examined through science and art convergence education required in the era of science and culture. The MZ generation, who are learners in the educational field, enjoy science as a culture. As a method of liberal arts education for them, you can try science liberal arts education through convergence with science and technology that they enjoy. To this end, the meaning and necessity of science and art convergence education were examined in terms of teachers, learners, and society. Next, examples of scientific and cultural activities that can be implemented in the aspects of creativity, communication, content fusion, and consideration as core competencies in science fusion education were examined. Finally, the educational direction of science and art convergence education was sequentially examined in terms of educational goals, subject development, and teaching methods. In particular, I designed a science and art convergence educational design (draft) using “Merchants of Doubt (documentary).” Above all, the core of science liberal arts education can help to enhance learning motivation and career planning through interest, fun, and curiosity. In order to achieve the educational goal of science education, it was confirmed that it was necessary to provide active support for the people involved in the science and arts convergence curriculum, the development of subjects, and the design and realization of various teaching methods.
