기혼 여성 자녀의 시부모 및 친정부모와의 세대 간 결속 및 친밀감

Intergenerational solidarity and intimacy between married women and their parents-in-law and pro-parents

본 연구는 결혼한 여성 자녀를 중심으로 그와 시부모 및 친정부모 간의 세대 간 결속 및 세대 간 친밀감을 살펴보고, 시부모 및 친정부모 간의 결속과 친밀감에 차이가 있는지 그리고 세대 간 결속정도에 따라 세대 간 친밀감에 차이가 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 유치원 원아를 둔 기혼 여성 자녀 327명을 대상으로 시부모 및 친정부모와의 세대간 결속 및 친밀감을 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0 for Windows를 사용하여 기술통계와 paired t-Test, 일원분산분석 등을 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 시부모와의 세대 간 결속은 가치관 일치 결속, 애정적 결속, 접촉적 결속과 기능적 결속 순이었고, 친정부모와의 세대 간 결속은 애정적 결속, 가치관 일치 결속, 접촉적 결속, 기능적 결속 순이었다. 모든 결속에서 시부모보다 친정부모와의 결속도가 더 높았다. 둘째, 시부모와의 세대 간 친밀감보다 친정부모와의 세대 간 친밀감이 더 높았다. 셋째, 시부모 및 친정부모와의 모든 세대 간 결속에서 결속도 수준에 따라 세대 간 친밀감에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 향후 가족복지 및 노인복지 정책 및 실천을 위한 제언을 몇 가지 덧붙였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine intergenerational solidarity and intergenerational intimacy between married women and their parents-in-law and pro-parents. For this purpose, we investigated intergenerational solidarity and intergenerational intimacy with their parents-in-law and pro-parents on 327 married women with kindergarten children. Descriptive statistics, paired t-Test, and one-way ANOVA were applied on the data using SPSS 21.0 for Windows. The results of this study were as follows: 1) While intergenerational solidarity with parents-in-law was higher in the order of consensual, affectual, and associational and functional solidarity, intergenerational solidarity with pro-parents was higher in the order of affectual, consensual, associational, and functional solidarity. In all areas of solidarity, the level of solidarity with pro-parents was higher than that of parents-in-law. 2) Also, intergenerational intimacy with pro-parents was higher than intergenerational intimacy with parents-in-laws. 3) There were significant differences in intergenerational intimacy depending on the level of intergenerational solidarity in all areas with their pro-parents and parents-in-laws. Based on these research results, we added some suggestions for future family and elderly welfare policies and practices.
