기능경기대회과제 의상디자인 분야 전문용어 어휘 분석 연구

A Study on the Professional Terms in the Fashion design Field of Apprentices Competition Tasks

본 연구는 한국 기능경기대회 의상 디자인 분야 과제에 사용된 전문용어를 분석하고 바람직한 전문용어를 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 기능경기대회는 산업인력공단이라는 공공 기관에서 전문 기술인의 양성과 수준 높은 기능인을 배출을 위한 행사로 지방과 전국 국제적으로 치러진다. 따라서 기능경기대회에 제출된 전문용어는 통일되어야 하고 정확해야 하며 공식적 전문용어로서의 조건을 반드시 갖추어야 한다는 점에서 전문용어에 대한 연구가 의의가 있을 것으로 본다. 기능경기대회 과제를 분석한 결과 전국기능경기대회와 지방기능경기대회에서 사용한 용어가 다르기도 하였으며 해마다 전문용어가 통일되지 않았을 뿐만 아니라 어문규정에 벗어난 용어, 의미상 적절하지 않은 용어들이 많이 사용된 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 의상 디자인의 전문영역의 특성을 반영하면서 의미상으로 적합할 뿐만 아니라 언어순화와 어문규정에 가능한 한 벗어나지 않은 전문용어를 제안하였다.

This study aims to analyze terminology used in the field of fashion design at the Korean Apprentices Competition and propose desirable terms. Apprentices competitions are held in provincial areas and nationwide as events to train professional engineers and produce high-quality technicians from public institutions called the Korea Industrial Manpower Corporation. Therefore, the research on technical terms will be meaningful in that the terms used in the competition must be unified, accurate, and must meet the conditions as official terms. As a result of analyzing the problems of the technical competition, the terms used at the national and local competitions were not unified every year, and they were not appropriate in meaning and usages. Therefore, in this work, we propose terminology that is not only semantically appropriate, but is as consistent with linguistic appropriateness and linguistic regulations as possible, reflecting the characteristics of the specialized areas of fashion design.
