인과관계 맵의 내용과 교육적 활용에 관한 연구

A Study on the Content and Educational Use of Causal Relationship Maps

본 연구에서는 교육과 연구를 지원하기 위해 인과관계 맵의 내용들을 살펴보고, 교육적으로 활용하는 방법들을 찾아보고자한다. 인과관계 맵은 운영 관리 관행 및 연구의 핵심이다. 인과 관계 맵은 생선 다이어그램, 임팩트 휠, 문제 트리, 전략 맵, 위험 평가 매핑 도구 및 원인 결과 다이어그램 등 많은 이름으로 알려져 있다. 인과관계 맵은 특히 이론을 구축하고 전달하기 위한 핵심 도구로 사용하며, 경험적 연구를 지원한다. 인과관계 맵을 만들기 위한 방법은 브레인스토밍을 사용하고, 구조화 인터뷰도 사회 과학에서 권장된다. 인과관계 맵은 실무자와 학자 모두에게 훌륭한 교육 도구를 제공할 수 있다. 전략 매핑 실습 및 연구 문헌에서 제안한 것처럼 인과 관계 맵은 시스템을 모니터링하고 제어해야 하는 중요한 제어 지점을 찾는 데 사용된다. 위험 관리 관행 및 연구 문헌들을 살펴보면 인과관계 맵은 위험 완화를 위한 중요한 지점을 찾기 위한 지침도 제공할 수 있다. 마지막으로 인과관계 맵의 사용을 통하여 여러 시스템이 잘 작동하도록 지원할 수 있다. 공공문제 쟁점 속에서 인과관계 맵은 관련된 문제점을 밝혀내고, 문제들 간의 복잡한 관계를 파악하도록 도와준다. 그것이 가능한 것은 인과관계 맵이 이러한 문제들이 서로 어떻게 연결되는지를 보여주기 때문이다. 또한 인과관계 맵이 유용한 이유는 인과관계 맵을 통한 지적 명료화 작업이 중요한 내용을 학생들에게 암기시키는 것이 아니라 사고하도록 유도하기 때문이다. 또한 교사가 문제해결을 위하여 가르쳐주는 전략들만 배우는 것이 아니라 학생 스스로 필요한 전략을 개발할 수 있기 때문에 인과관계 맵은 매우 필요하다.

This study examines the contents of the causal relationship map to support education and research, and tries to find ways to use it educationally. Causal maps are at the heart of operational management practices and research. Causality maps are known by many names, including Ishikawa (fish) diagrams, impact wheels, problem trees, strategy maps, risk assessment mapping tools (FMEA), and cause and effect diagrams. Causal maps are used in particular as key tools for building and communicating theories, and support empirical research. A method for creating causal maps uses brainstorming, and structured interviews are also recommended in the social sciences. Causal maps can provide an excellent educational tool for practitioners and scholars alike. As suggested in the strategy mapping practice and research literature, causal maps are used to monitor and find critical control points that need to be controlled. Looking at risk management practices and research literature, causal maps can also provide guidance for finding important points for risk mitigation. Finally, through the use of causal maps, multiple systems can be supported to work well. In a public problem issue, a causal relationship map helps uncover related problems and understand the complex relationships between problems. This is possible because the causal map shows how these problems relate to each other. In addition, the reason why the causal relationship map is useful is that intellectual clarification through the causal relationship map induces students to think rather than memorize important contents. In addition, the causal relationship map is very necessary because the students can develop the strategies that they need by themselves, rather than just learning the strategies that the teacher teaches for general problem solving.
