생명윤리적 의사결정 모델 정립을 위한 탐색적 연구

Exploratory study to Establish Ethical a Decision Making Model

본 연구는 생명윤리적 이슈가 발생할 때 일반적으로 어떠한 의사결정을 하게 되는지에 대한 모델을 정립하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 선행연구에서 밝혀진 결과를 토대로 ‘생명이란 무엇인가?’, ‘무엇을 생명윤리의식이라 생각하는가?’, ‘생명윤리의식을 구성하는 요소들에는 어떤 것들이 있는가?’ 등의 질문을 만들고 생명관련 키워드수집, 포커스그룹인터뷰(FGI), 1:1인터뷰 등을 통해 자료수집을 하고 질적 연구방법론 중 발견적 연구로 분석하였다. 먼저, 131명의 보건복지 전공의 대학생에게 ‘생명’과 ‘생명윤리의식’이라는 단어를 보고 떠오른 4~6개의 키워드를 적게 하였다. 둘째, 생명윤리 전문가 및 생명운동 실천가 5명을 대상으로 1:1 전문가 인터뷰를 하였는데 인터뷰 내용은 ‘생명이란 무엇인가?’, ‘무엇을 생명윤리의식이라 생각하는가?’, ‘생명윤리의식은 어떤 요소들로 구성된다고 보는가?’ 등이었다. 또한 생명문제에 관심이 있고 생명운동을 실천하고 있는 대학생 6명을 의도표집하고, 1인당 평균 60분간 동일한 질문을 하여 자료를 수집하였다. 셋째, 브레인스토밍을 위해 8명으로 구성된 전문가 포커스그룹 1팀과 대학생 포커스 그룹 1팀을 운영하여 생명윤리의식의 구성요소를 논의하였다. 그 결과 생명관련 키워드 분석 결과인 828개의 개념과 인터뷰 내용분석 결과인 179개의 개념, 총 1,007개의 개념이 추출되었으며 범주화를 통해 생명윤리적 의사결정 모델을 개발하였다. 새로운 모델을 통해 생명윤리의식을 측정할 수 있는 척도를 개발하는 등 여러 방면에서의 활용을 기대해 본다.

The purpose of this study is to establish a decision making model are generally made when bioethical issues arise. For this purpose, the data which was analyzed as a heuristic study of qualitative research methodology were gathered/ through a collection of bio-related keywords, a focus group interview (FGI) and one-to-one interviews in order to establish a model of what decisions would normally be made when bioethical issues arise. First, 131 college students of health and welfare major were asked to write 4 to 6 keywords which were related to life and ‘Bioethics Awareness’. Second, one-to-one interviews were conducted with 5 persons who were bioethics experts and doers of bioethics and one-to-one interviews were conducted with 6 college students who were interested in bioethics problems and doers of bioethics. Third, we discussed the components of Bioethics Awareness with the focus group /consisting of 8 experts and the focus group consisting of 8 college students. As a result, 828 concepts were extracted through bio - related keyword analysis and 179 concepts were extracted through interview contents analysis (a total of 1,007 concepts), and a bioethical decision model was developed by categorization. Through a new model, We look forward to its use in various fields, such as developing a bioethics awareness scale.
