龙门石窟北魏安定王元燮石刻题记研究

Research on inscriptions of King Yuanxie of Northern Wei Dynasty, in Longmen Grottoes

지금까지 중국 학계에서 龍門石窟에 관한 연구는 주로 考古學과 藝術 분야에 집중되어 연구가 진행되어왔다. 특히 古陽洞의 연구는 佛敎藝術과 書法 그리고 文物保護 등의 분야를 중심으로 연구가 진행되었다. 이 과정에서 古陽洞의 造像題記에 관한 역사적 가치에 관한 연구가 진행이 되기는 하였지만, 다른 분야에 비하여 그 성과와 연구의 난이도가 부족한 것이 사실이다. 古陽洞의 三品安定王造像題記에 관한 학계의 연구는 주로 그 위치와 題記의 내용 그리고 題記와 관련된 기록을 종합하는 것이었다. 이를 통해 北魏의 歷史와 관련된 사실을 유추할 수 있다. 安定王 家世의 北魏 中後期의 興亡盛衰, 北魏와 주변민족의 聯姻仕宦 등의 관계 등을 알 수 있으며, 또한 古陽洞의 造像史 등을 함께 확인해 볼 수 있다. 龍門石窟 古陽洞의 三品安定王과 관련된 題記에 관한 연구는 中古史와 造像史의 기록에 있어서 부족한 부분을 보충해 줄 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

There are three related inscriptions in Guyang cave of Longmen Grottoes, namely, the second inscription of Wang yuanxie for his parents and the first inscription of Wang yuanxie for his husband. These inscriptions are roughly excavated at the end of the first phase of the project and the beginning of the second phase of the project. From these inscriptions, we can study the early statue history of Guyang cave, supplement the hereditary information of King anding family missing in historical records, and explore the ethnic relations in the middle and late Northern Wei Dynasty. The related inscriptions of Wang yuanxie in Sanpin anding of Guyang cave have important value of original historical materials.
