ЯПОНСКИЕ ВЕЕРА В ЕВРОПЕ: МОДА И ИСТОЧНИК ХУДОЖЕСТВЕННОГО ВДОХНОВЕНИЯ (ВТОРАЯ ПОЛОВИНА XIX В.)

The article deals with the study of interaction between European and Asian cultures in the context of influence of the Japanese classic Ukiyo-e print on the creative works of European artists in the second half of the 19th century. The author notices Europeans to be interested in the Japanese everyday items. The gradual development of the specific trends in the decoration of interiors, its belonging to the spreading Japanese style can be traced with the example of the fan and its role in artistic and daily culture. Having been shown in the canvases and decorated by the artists the Japanese fans contributed to the further exotic fashion growth. This phenomenon having becоme а stereotype motive started declining only by the end of the 19th century.
