The article analyzes examples from the text of “Informed consent to colon polypectomy” to illustrate the thesis that the translation of medical texts is a specific and complex process. The expansion of relations between Russia and the Republic of Korea in the field of medicine makes the problem of adequate translation of medical texts relevant.
