Recently, a woodworking is recognized as sensory experience and leisure activities or occupations, thus interest is gradually increased. In general, woodworking education is one of the hand-working education that mainly uses hands. The advantage is that people can improve their hand function while learning. This education is beneficial for everyone, but learning it especially at a young age helps to awaken a variety of senses and develop brains as well. Therefore, the current status of woodworking education was investigated for teachers in order to revitalize education for childhood. The survey is consisted of two sub-indicators: 1) the woodworking experience and the current status of woodworking education and 2) the perception of woodworking class. Major problems of woodworking classes were lack of budget, facilities and equipment. Also, they replied that they were experiencing difficulties with their expertise in carpentry and that there was no place to get help. It has become a psychological burden. To solve this problems, it is necessary to provide human and material support, and policy efforts for various support measures must be accompanied.
