The purpose of this study is to develope the wrapping paper for freshness maintenance of fruit and vegetable using newspapers treated with essential oils. Essential oil is an antibacterial and eco-friendly material. The Cedar and Eucalyptus oils were emulsified and sprayed on newspaper in 5 steps, increasing from 5 g to 45 g per square meter. The air permeability of oil-treated newspaper decreased as the amount of oil added increased. As a result of the food freshness test, the freshness of the green grapes was somewhat maintained as the amount of Eucalyptus oil was increased, and in the case of Cedar oil, the highest freshness was maintained at 35 g per square meter.
