The domestic children’s furniture market has been growing in size in the 2000s as it forms an axis in the furniture market. In particular, products that incorporate eco-friendly furni-ture and emotional design are increasingly being marketed as major sales goods due to the well-being trend. In the future, environmental regulations as well as the health and safety of children are important, so eco-friendliness will become a more important keyword for product selection and development. However, in the case of domestic eco-friendly children’s furniture, the pursuit of eco-friendliness in terms of materials rather than various eco-friendly techno-logical aspects leads to a narrow selection of consumers due to lack of design diversity. Therefore, this study investigates the characteristics of these products and suggests improve-ments in terms of eco - friendliness through accurate survey analysis on products currently dis-tributed and developed in order to secure and develop diversity of domestic environmentally friendly children’s furniture. Among the Korean children’s furniture brand, we surveyed the brands that carry out publicity and sales strategy with the environment - friendly children’s fur-niture brand. As a result, 54 companies surveyed and 3,210products were surveyed for each brand product. In addition to the shape, color and material characteristics of all of these prod-uct, we surveyed major eco-friendly strategies and presented specific development strategies by accurately grasping the current status of the environmentally friendly children’s furniture market in Korea.
