China, ranked the topmost in the world with its population, guarantees a great num-ber of students based on its enormous population norm. However, despite the massive pop-ulation, students are currently not using the storage on the desk as planned; they pile up books on the desk, hence the lack of usage space continues. Therefore, the researcher suggests a de-sign that could solve this issue. For this purpose, a case study was conducted on the desks and chairs currently in use, based on which an analysis was done in regard to form and color. Also, an online interview was conducted in order to understand the cause of books being piled up on the desk. As a result of figuring out what is uncomfortable about the desks and chairs currently being used, a design could be conceived to make up for the lack of usage space due to the low usage rate of desk and chair space in terms of expansion of function and storage space. Based on this, the researcher brought forth the rule of puzzle pieces fitting together into the concept of assembling and attempted a sketch utilizing the block parts of a puzzle. Then, construction and 3D rendering were done based on the sketch. Finally, the researcher solved the problem of books building up on the desk and blocking the view from the instructor by making use of the space on the desk and planning a semi-open storage space. Also, for the difficulty that occurred while moving the desks, wheels were installed to the desk legs to minimize the power and en-ergy when moving them. Moreover, partitions were installed under the chair seat for the stu-dents to store their coats and bags.
