Bethan Gray (1977, Cardiff, Wales), the female British furniture designer, has created her own brand and produced several collections, keeping the public around the world informed of her work. She laid stress on the rise in the value of her work, which has emphasized aes-thetic impression and originality in commercial production. Bethan Gray devoted herself to ex-pressive techniques, such as sketching various ideas in collaboration with artists with artisan-ship, and focused on handicraft works. Inspired by the traditional cultural methods, the focus was made on formative features and expression methods from the features of works considering the organic forms of nature. Each feature was analyzed by dividing into Bethan Gray’s three collections, and the research aimed at the cases, morphological features of each work, and the design of CMF work. The purpose of this thesis is to create artistic value and aesthetics for fur-niture designers who can continue their work with their own philosophy and design and to con-tribute to the development of modern society in the future.
