목재 압축과 팽창 기술을 통한 생활용품 개발 연구

A Study on Development of Living Goods through Wood Compression and Expansion Technology

This study is to develop wood products by utilizing the material properties of wood. Wood contracts, expands, and deforms depending on the moisture content. In addition, since wood is a viscoelastic material and has plasticity to some extent, bending occurs when a force is applied to the wood, and various shapes can be processed using these characteristics. Wood deformation due to contraction and expansion is a material disadvantage of wood. However, in this study, after compressing wood with heat, it penetrates moisture to transform its shape and derive the results of experiments and research that can develop a product with a natural shape. We developed 23 household products using a total of 16 types of wood, and intends to secure data that can help in the development of similar related products in the future, such as mois-ture content and change time according to the developed wood species.
