This study was conducted to efficiently manage wood urbanism by empirically analyzing the perception of wood on the subject of wood urbanism. The survey consisted of four sub-indicators: 1) interest, 2) living environment, 3) living culture, and 4) education related to wood. As a result, in terms of interest in wood, most of the survey respondents positively evaluated the use of wood, but the general characteristics of wood and the positive effects of wood use were not clearly known. In addition, most respondents recognized that wood is primarily used as a furniture material in their living environment. Most of the respondents would think that the use of wood is very limited because it is rarely used in building materials or other household items. There is little or no experience in wood-related hobbies and experience activities, and education experiences are also rarely seen, confirming that there are not many opportunities to deal with wood or learn about wood. Therefore, in order to realize wood urbanism, education and publicity related to wood should be preceded, and a system that can provide wood experience opportunity should be established so that the people can realize wood urbanism.
